Increasingly, psychologists are recognizing the impact of substances on psychological functioning. The stakes are especially high in forensic cases, where medications and recreational substances can affect both neuropsychological functioning and the legal disposition of examinees. This webinar helps attendees understand the integration of psychopharmacology knowledge into forensic neuropsychology by examining relevant cases.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of the presentation, attendees will be able to:

1.       Define forensic neuropsychology.
2.       Explain the scientific approach to forensic neuropsychological assessment.
3.       Describe the relevance of psychopharmacology to forensic neuropsychology cases.
4.       Apply the scientific approach to understand forensic neuropsychological cases involving substance use.
